Updates & license renewals
Category AJAX Filter Pro updates arrive in your WordPress dashboard like any other plugin while your license is active - and the license itself is renewed either from your renewal reminder email or from My Account.
In short
While your license is active, new Pro versions appear under Dashboard → Updates in wp-admin and install with one click - there's no need to re-download the ZIP. An annual license can be renewed two ways: from the renewal link in your reminder email, or anytime from My Account → Subscriptions at trustyplugins.com. Lifetime licenses never expire, so there's nothing to renew. If an annual license lapses, the plugin keeps working exactly as it is - you only stop receiving new versions and support.
Updating to a new version
New Pro releases come through WordPress's own update system. As long as your license is activated on the site, an update notice appears exactly the way it does for any plugin installed from WordPress.org.

Check for the update
In your WordPress dashboard, go to Dashboard → Updates, or open Plugins and look for the update notice under Category AJAX Filter Pro.

Click Update Now
Click Update Now. WordPress downloads and installs the new version for you - your filters, layouts and settings are kept.
Note
Updates come through your license - if it isn't activated on the site, no update notice appears. See Activating your license. You can also install a new version by hand at any time using the latest ZIP from Downloading your copy.
Renewing your license
Pro is sold either as an annual license or as a one-time lifetime license. A lifetime license never expires, so there's nothing to renew. An annual license runs for a year, and there are two ways to renew it - whichever is easier when the time comes.
From your renewal email
Before your license runs out, you'll get a renewal reminder by email with a renewal link in it. Clicking that link takes you straight to renewal - you don't need to go looking for your plan.
From My Account

Go to My Account → Subscriptions
Log in at trustyplugins.com, go to My Account, then click Subscriptions in the left-hand menu.

Renew your license
Find your plan in the list and renew it from there. This works at any time, whether or not you still have the reminder email.
When an annual license expires
Nothing on your site changes when a license lapses. Category AJAX Filter Pro keeps working exactly as it is, with all of its features, and your published filters carry on running. What stops is access to new versions and to product support.

FAQ
Do I have to re-download the plugin to update it?
No - while your license is active, updates appear under Dashboard → Updates and install with one click. The ZIP in My Account is there if you'd rather install a new version manually.
What happens if my license expires?
The plugin keeps working exactly as it is. You stop receiving new versions and product support until you renew.
Do lifetime licenses need renewing?
No - a lifetime license doesn't expire, so there's nothing to renew.
Where do I renew an annual license?
Either way works - use the renewal link in your reminder email, or go to My Account → Subscriptions at trustyplugins.com at any time.
Do I get a reminder before my license expires?
